High school football is where your teenager belongs

What sport has more players than any other team sport? More opportunities to play? More chances to contribute to the team’s success? High school football!

There may be 11 players on the field at one time. But between all the “teams” within the team—offense, defense, kickoff, kickoff return, punt, punt return, field goal, field goal block—there are 88 opportunities to participate in a game!

Because teams need a variety of players for a variety of positions, high school football is open to everyone, regardless of size, weight or skill level. And every player performs a unique role that is equally valuable to the team.

So, whether it’s the starting lineup, the practice team or somewhere in between, everyone contributes. Everyone has a role to play. Everyone belongs.

Talk to the students in your family about participating in football! This is where they belong. This is high school football.

This is what it's all about!

High school football teaches so much more than Xs and Os.

Why is football one of the most inclusive high school sports?
